We are looking for a Group Welding Coordinator. In your role you will report to the Quality Process Manager and you will be part of Quality Department. You will be based in LU-VE S.p.A, Alonte (VI), Italy.

 

Mission of the role

 

The Group Welding Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the quality and coordination of welding/brazing activities within the Group.  Is responsible for establishing managing and supervising corporate brazing standards, overseeing compliance and global implementation.

 

You will be in charge of

 

  • Has overall responsibility for the quality of welding / brazing processes, ensuring compliance with approved procedures, qualifications, work instructions and quality controls
  • Coordinate, train and supervise activities of plant coordinators.
  • Main group reference for welding and brazing technology development.
  • Define according to applicable regulations group standards, guidelines and procedures related to welding / brazing processes.
  • Provide technical support root cause analyses and failure investigations related to welding / brazing when required.
  • Provide support within supplier evaluation and qualification process.
  • Support and train plant coordinators.
  • Make sure that knowledge and best practices are spread within the group.
  • Continuous improvement in supporting the development of new or existing welding/brazing technologies.
  • Make sure that, through local quality organization:
      • Group procedures and guidelines are implemented.
      • Essential design requirements, welding / brazing procedures, and acceptance criteria are defined.
      • Product and process controls are in place.
      • Personnel qualifications are properly managed.

 

 

 Education & Experience we are looking for

 

  • Technical diploma or degree in mechanical engineering or material science.
  • Direct experience in brazing or welding operations

 

Qualifications we are looking for

 

  • EWF certification: International Welding Engineer (IWE) or Technologist (IWT).
  • Non-destructive test ISO 9712 Level 3
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 22688 (supplied by specific training), ISO 3834, PED 2014/68/EU and related harmonized standards (i.e. EN 14276, EN 13480, ISO 13585, EN 13445, ASME IX
