Application Engineer

We are looking for an Application Engineer to join our sales team in Breda.

The role reports to the Managing Director Cluster Benelux & UK

Location: Breda, Netherlands 

Mission of the role

The Application Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to the selection and development of products mainly to sales department and, also, to distributors, direct customers and consultants.

You will be in charge of

• Harmonising relations with the commercial network and between the various business departments involved in order development by providing the right technical-commercial support
• Checking the selection tools and collaborating with the functions involved in the development of increasingly better tools
• Searching new selection systems increasingly efficient
• Coordinating activities and managing the flow of information to the process of development and production of orders, in particular for special machines, supporting the technical department
• Controlling selection activities, especially orders acquired in compliance with the rules of feasibility and corporate sustainability
• Collaborating synergistically with the various business functions with the objective of improving the process and support to the entire group in the application of the procedures of its competence
• Monitoring offers in terms of type of products required, application conditions and product configuration in order to provide input to the standardization of ranges on market needs

Education & Experience we are looking for

• 1-3 years in the role/similar role in medium/large companies preferable in the refrigeration sector
• Engineering Degree (Energy, Mechanical, Materials, Aerospace Engineering) or High school diploma (Technical diploma)

Qualifications we are looking for

• Language skill: English (fluent)
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office with special attention to EXCEL
• Preferable knowledge of SAP management system
• Strong Attitude to Communication and Interpersonal Relationships
• Problem solving
• Passion

The indicative gross annual salary (GAS) for this position ranges between € 40.000- €50.000,00 depending on the candidate's experience and seniority level.
