We are looking for an Electrical Designer to support LU-VE Plant in Italy. In your role you will report to the Plant Technical Manager and you will be based in Uboldo (VA), Italy.

 

Mission of the role

To design and develop electrical systems and components in line with customer requirements and internal standards, ensuring product functionality, safety and compliance with applicable regulations and production constraints.

You will be in charge of

  • Development of new projects for electrical equipment of machines as required by current sector regulations.
  • Development of special orders in the Industrial Refrigeration and Industrial Cooling fields.
  • Choice of components to be used.
  • Drawing up of electrical diagrams with electrical CAD.
  • Drafting of bill of materials.
  • System coding of the necessary components
  • Interface with Sales, Order handling, Research, Production and Purchasing Department to ensure alignment of the respective processes, also with foreign plants (US, China).
  • Technical development with 2D CAD

Nice to have:

  • Technical development with 3D CAD (with Inventor).
  • Basic knowledge of management of control systems (programming of parametric control cards, programming of electronic fans).

Education & Experience we are looking for

Preferable at least 3/5 years experience in the HVAC / Air conditioning / Air treatment sector and / or in any case in the field of electrical / control design

Diploma in electrotechnical / electronic expert or degree in electrical / electronic engineering

Qualifications we are looking for

  • Preferable knowledge of 3D Cad programs (Inventor)
  • Basic knowledge of the main directives: Low Voltage Directive, Machinery Directive, EMC Directive
  • Good knowledge of the regulations: CEI EN 60204-1 Electrical equipment of machines, CEI EN 61439-1 and 2 for LV switchboards
  • Preferable basic knowledge of UL 508A and NFPA79 regulations.
  • Good knowledge of programs for drawing up electrical diagrams.
  • Knowledge of MS Office (in particular Excel).
  • Good knowledge of English
