Manufacturing Engineering Manager

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager who will report to the Lean Process Engineering Director. Your workplace will be our HQ located in Uboldo (VA).
Feasibility analysis and Processes definition

- Evaluating the technical and economic feasibility of new products or improvements
- Defining the production processes needed for new products or capacity increases
- Collaborating with engineering and production teams to implement new processes
Standard Routings definition and calculation
-
- Implement standard routing to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Analyze and manage production flow processes
- Define calculation and manage the cycle time for each process phase.
Time measurement method standardization and training
-
- Definition of standard measurement methods and modules.
- Standard Operating Procedures Standardization.
- Provide training worldwide to improve competences in all plants.
Performance and Cycle Time Benchmarking by Product and Process
-
- Collecting and analyzing data on performance and cycle times
- Comparing performance with industry standards or best practices
- Identifying improvement opportunities based on benchmarking.
Production Line balancing

- Analyzing workload and capacity of production lines
- Implementing strategies to balance workload and optimize resource use
- Continuously monitoring and adjusting line balancing
Efficiency and Productivity improvement projects

- Standardization Rules for efficiency and Productivity
- Specific projects to support local teams
- OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) calculation deployment
Manufacturing Software Key User

- Manage and optime the software used in production.
- Manage and develop software for standard time calculatio
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide user support
Education:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, industrial engineering.
Requirements:
- Experience: 8 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of industrialisation methods and industrial performance management.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Leadership: Leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to train staff and communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with lean production principles and expertise in time and methods analysis. Understanding of ergonomics concepts and index
- Knowledge of production cycles, phases, and bill of materials
- Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure processes are thoroughly evaluated and optimized.
